two seasons. In 2001 he was the "Most Improved
Driver" for the Pure Stock division. Also in 2001, as
well as 2002 and 2003, he was voted "Sportsman of the
Year" by his fellow drivers. In 2005 he finished in the
fourth position. In 13 races he had 10 top tens,
including 9 top fives, and 1 feature win.
Crew Chief Curby Kirkendall has been involved in
racing since the 1992 season, when he competed in the
Charger division. In five seasons, Curby finished in the
top five in points four times including a championship in
1996. After his championship, Curby moved on to the
Late Model Sportsman division, and eventually, the
Late Model Super Stock division where he had great
success. Now he has decided to stay active as the
Crew Chief and suspension master for Moore
Motorsports. In 2007 Curby will be racing in the Late
Model Super Stock division at south sound speedway.
Reggie Moore has been as much a part of this team
as his brother Bobby. For the last four years, Reggie
has been hands-on in the race shop and has learned
about every aspect of the race car. He will now be in
the pits with the rest of the team on race day, as well as
keeping up with his duties as the official webmaster for
Moore Motorsports.
